Writing has always been a part of Lindsay’s life, as someone who journalled her way through high school and beyond. Web content was an early interest of hers, beginning to blog before “blogging” was the term for it, way back in 1999. The Urban Momtographer has existed in its current form since early 2008, making the move to WordPress in 2009 and never looking back.

The Urban Momtographer was voted fourth in VancouverMom.ca’s Top thirty Mom Blogs of 2010. Lindsay attended the 2010 Eco-Friendly Mom Blogger Summit at Great Wolf Lodge in Washington State, beginning her love for conference travel to further extend her knowledge of the industry and how to properly work with brands. Lindsay has been found at some amazing conferences including Blogher 2011, and ShesConnected in Toronto 2011. She regularly works with multinational brands to represent them to her growing reader base on a regular basis, offering reviews, opinions and real life experiences. Lindsay has worked with such amazing brands as The Granola King, Safeway, Crocs, Nature’s Path, Freybe Meats and Footloose Games. She is also one of the UbiChamps with Ubisoft entertainment, reviewing videogames for the Wii and Xbox systems, as well as PC. Lindsay is a freelance writer, photographer and photojournalist who co-owns a pin-back button company in her spare time, and who enjoys hiking, camping, friends and laughter.
