Those of you who know me know by now that Michelle is one of my very closest friends. Every June, we celebrate the birth of her firstborn with cake and food and good times with tunes. This year was no exception, as we were invited last weekend to be a part of Seth’s fourth birthday. Good lord, four already? These kids lives are flashing before my eyes!
Then the kids got to decorate some pretty awesome cookies.
Laughs were had by the adults in the mean time.
And then it was time for presents, which everyone loves.
After presents it was time to load up on even more sugar with CAKE!
Some of you may remember that we were invited not too long ago to a tasting party by our friends at Love Your Cake. At Sethy’s birthday, we just happened to get a chance to taste another Love Your Cake creation by Candice and Danny in this amazingly done Lego Volcano cake! It was even gluten free!
On a side note, if you’re in the Lower Mainland and you need a cake done for any occasion? Come on… I don’t even have to finish plugging this awesome cake business… Just get in touch at the above link and make it happen. these guys are AWESOME.
Pretty incredible, hey?
As always, I want to extend a huge Thank You to Michelle and Jeremy for hosting an awesome fun time last weekend, and for making our family feel so much like a part of theirs. I love raising our children together, and I can’t wait for more adventures in the future. Especially with a new baby on the way for these two sometime in late fall.
