Back at the beginning of the year, I was excited to announce that I had been selected as one of the Ubisoft Ubichamps, a group of bloggers who tests and tries out new games by Ubisoft in order to tell you, the reader, what we think about them. Late in November I was invited to host a super 70’s House party with the new ABBA You Can Dance game, I was pretty stoked to comply. First of all, I LOVE having company over, and it had been awhile since I’d seen the clan. Plus, it was one of our good friend’s birthdays!

The ABBA Dance party game is so much fun to play! Unlike other games which involve performing, this one doesn’t kick my daughter off when she’s not doing things perfectly. ABBA You Can Dance is super easy for kids to play, and it’s a lot of fun for adults too. Not to mention how great it is to play a game that gets you moving your entire body to the beat of some of your favourite classic ABBA songs! That’s partially why this mom loves the You Can Dance series from Ubisoft which encourages fun family movement through videogames!

This game is an absolutely perfect thing to buy for the Wii-playing ABBA lover in your life, especially with Christmas just around the corner.

I planned out our dinner, invited everyone over, and got ready to entertain. There was only one issue… Our game was slightly delayed in the mail and we never got a chance to play it… But we did play it as a family, and we had such a great time laughing and dancing with our avatars. I’m so glad that we were selected to try this game out!

The party was still a total blast, and well worth throwing to get a chance to see everyone and hang out together just before the busy holiday season. Not to mention that a large chunk of the attendees have birthdays in the month of December. It was a great chance to have a good time amongst our friends before the real hustle and bustle of the holiday season really began.

As for the ABBA You Can Dance game, our family seriously loved it. We can’t get enough of this one, and I just know that it will be a hit at Abby’s birthday party this coming weekend! If you’re looking to check out this game, you can find out more and see prices here.
